Bedford MS Bands

Greetings,

 On Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m. we have rescheduled our informational meeting about the high school band program at BMS in the auditorium.  We will talk about scheduling, all the different programs we have at the high school and hopefully take care of  myths that are out there about the band program (such as you can’t play  sports and be in the band program,  That is false, you can play do both). 

We have a lot of exciting events coming up for 2014.  In May the Marching Stars are inviting all the 8^th grade bands in the school system to march with us in the Indy 500 Parade.  This will be the first time the band program has done this event.  During Thanksgiving break in November of 2014 the marching band will be taking a trip to Florida to perform at Walt Disney World.  We will have information about the trip and talk about a fundraiser that is already started to help with cost.

As you can see we have a lot of information to give to you, please put this on your calendars and plan to attend.  If you can’t make the meeting that night please email me at jonesji@nlcs.k12.in.us and I will make arrangements to get the information to you.
