Another week has come to an end and it is time for another update. The band students are in a good flow and progress is becoming evident as we wrap up the month of September.
6th Grade Band
The sixth grade band members are using band books and equipment every day now. We have run out of a few books, but more are on the way for those that don’t have them yet. Band books are $9 and percussion books are $15. The percussion kits for the percussionists are $55. Checks can be made out to BMS Band.
Washington D.C.
An updated roster reflecting the latest personnel changes has been posted in the band room. The kids have been asked to check it for accuracy. The initial down payment of $55 is due on October 1st. Remember to go to the Music Travel Consultant’s website to register.
Cookie Dough fund-raiser
The cookie dough fund-raiser ended on September 19. The initial sales figures are outstanding. A big thank you goes out to all that participated. The cookie dough should arrive the week of October 10.
