I am so excited to post this exciting news. The BMS Band Department will be assembling a Symphonic Band to perform in Washington D.C. next spring. The trip will take place 4 days during Spring Break 2012. This opportunity is a culmination of years of work and effort from kids and parents that have helped propel the program forward.
The Symphonic Band will consist of talented and reliable 7th and 8th grade Concert Band students. These students will learn the necessary music during the school day and in lessons after school when needed. A few evening or after school rehearsals will be required to put everything together for the D.C. performance.
