Mr. Lackey visited the 8th grade students this week and provided sign-up sheets for next year’s high school marching band along with a calendar of events. I can’t say enough good about the marching band at BNL. It is a volunteer activity that travels and performs all around the midwest. Cost is minimal and they rehearse just 3 times a week with Monday and Wednesday free. They have been very successful in the Mid-States Band circuit with having made the finals every year for as long as I can remember.

They also have some fundraising activities over the next couple of weeks we can support and in turn support our 8th graders. One fundraiser involves simply filling out a survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/internetinindiana by May 18th. You can also test drive Ford vehicles at BNL on May 17 @ BNL from 6 – 8 pm and Ford will donate money for each test drive to the high school band. In addition to those two opportunities you can have your car washed @ K-mart on May 21 and donate to the marching band.
